They do! But it's hard to tell under all that fluff. They are a raptor, so their usual way to catch things is a strike with their extended legs.
We've had a quiet day - Anzac Day Dawn Service, then went to visit a friend down in Unley for lunch and conversation. She had some plants for me, including some old-fashioned geranium cuttings ('Mabel Grey' and the like), an old style Spiraea from what used to be her great-grandma's garden, and a seedling of the Australian native celery ( Apium prostratum).
Then I came home and unloaded and stacked a load of wood, and will shortly fall into bed.
