Job, I'd never heard of those, they look fascinating!
Basse, My brother and I were two scientifically-minded children on an isolated farm. We got up to all sorts of stuff, from chemical experiments to raising birds of prey. Oh, and climbing everything - that was where I first developed a taste for free-climbing. My other sibs are all nearly a generation younger, and not so like-minded.
Fortunately for us, the farm was old enough that the laundry was in a free-standing building separate from the house, otherwise our grandmother would have been even more annoyed! I still haven't forgotten what she said when I, as a small girl, got up in the middle of the night and dismantled the grandfather clock.
What happened to Nobel's brother?
