Aw, thanks for the cheering; I've just arrived home for the results, but it made me happy  :D
except... no Iceland? I liked that song...

Same :( I was hoping Estonia and Iceland would make it through but I guess not x/
I got home in time for Cyprus and all the following, so I really only wanted those two and Austria and Russia, both of whom made it.
Here's to hoping Latvia makes it through on Thursday!!

Russia has a good chance to win the contest; it's a catchy song in the "Eurovision-style"

The newspapers are crying bitter tears back home but to be honest I wasn't too impressed by Iceland's song to begin with... same for Finland's song, I kind of understand all too well why it didn't make it to the finals. It just wasn't catchy at all.

Second semifinal is tonight!

At the jury rehearsal last night, there were some technical issues with Georgia's act, so they were allowed to go twice. Since I hated their song, I really hope the same thing does not happen tonight.

There are some that I wouldn't have minded listening to twice, though. < 3 (Israel, Belarus, Australia...!!)

Moe !!

I have been skipping Eurovision this year, i just listened through the list beforehand. I have to say, that there seems to be very little variations this year. Songs are basicly good, but none of them really stands apart from others.

I usually hope, that the winner would be a new country each year. It is nice to see the show landing on to some place, which hasn´t been a host yet. :)

Where ever i go, cats look upon me. They know everything.

Nnnnnoooooo the hot Belorussian guy didn't get through to the final, I am so disappointed. Ditto for the Norwegian entry.

Does anyone have a guess as to who the final winner will be? :V

The Nordics didn't do well this year :/
And you're right, Belarus was much better than some of the finalists...

Only one Nordic in the final, and it's the hosting country. SO WEIRD.

The Swedes did it on purpose so the rest of the Nordics would all have to vote for them, since we can't vote for each other. It's a conspiracy!

Nuuuuuh! ;3; I voted for Finland! It's so sad we're the only Nordic in the final. And tbh, if we weren't auto-qualified, I don't think there'd be any Nordics in the final. ;3; And I think all Nordics will vote for Australia now. That'll be interesting!

I'm also equally annoyed Georgia qualified (because now I have to endure their seizure inducing show again, and let me tell you it's 100% worse live), and that Belarus didn't. C'mon Europe, why didn't you like the naked wolf guy?? Also Norway. So sad. ;3;

Oh yes, naked wolf guy was my favourite along with Denmark, I'm really sad that neither of them made it. :(

If the reactions of the audience at the jury final are any indication, likely winners are:

Spoiler: show

Australia, Spain, Russia, maybe France.

...I just got back from it and it is almost 2 AM and orz I am so out of it.

(I still say Belarus should have been in the final. IVAN WAS ROBBED, I tell you!)
