Ah, okay! (The crayon was a good guess too Noodly, that's what I kind of thought it was.) Have you ever tried using a masking fluid? It can be kind of a pain to apply (and will ruin your paintbrush if that's what you use to apply it) but you can get some neat effects with it.

(I went through a phase of doing that, but my crayons were weak and didn't work as well as it did there, so I kinda gave up.)

Oh my gosh this is amazing! It's really inspiring to see how quickly you are improving your art. I'm very impressed. The textures, the details, the shading, and even the folds on the clothes. I can't wait to see where this takes you next!

Helia, I'm glad you liked it! And yes, Onni is such a ray of sunshine, isn't he.. I think I have yet to see him smile in the comic, so he turned intensely worried (or something) this time too. Maybe a happy face next time? I also really like your sleeping Lalli and caring Emil.

Owl, Kiraly, Mélusine, Viola, thank you! It is a lot of fun to see my own work, and the work of other artists on this forum, developing. I like drawing so much!
Speaking of which, just shoot me a PM if anyone has a request or want to do an art trade! I'm starting work again tomorrow so I'll draw more slowly, but I tend to concentrate better on these when I'm doing them for someone  and not just for myself

I haven't commented on art as often as I would like to lately, but everything these past few pages are absolutely lovely! I can really see the effort put into every drawing and painting, kudos. :)

I'm on winter break now, so I finallyyyyy have some time for making art again! This was done to give little Lynx-Lalli from a while back a friend, plus Emil was such a sweetie pie to the Rashound, I wanted to immortalize their special connection!
