I'd like to make an announcement. I record every single art piece that goes down in this thread. I have seen every single on of them. Even the ones that were posted before I was a member of this forum. I have never seen so many different unique styles and so many different types of artists in one place, and I think this is a beautiful thing. I love getting to see each and every one of your arts that you chose to post on this forum.
That being said, I have a problem with people posting their art and then degrading it or insulting it. It's not fair to yourself. If you would not call another person's art disgusting or terrible or ugly, do not use it to describe your own art. It makes me sad to see so many people post something and say look how horrible I am. Because this is NOT a forum for that. We are here to appreciate each other's art and we are here to learn and grow as artists. We are not here to tell each other how bad we think we are.
If you want constructive criticism of your art we have a thread for that, but even there no one should be telling people their art is horrible or disgusting. Just like it would be completely unacceptable for me to go on the forum and tell you all that I hate your art, it is unacceptable for you to be degrading your own art and telling everyone how much you hate it. I understand that you might not be happy with an art piece, I have been there myself, and that is why we have the art critique thread, so that you can ask for advice to change things to make yourself happier with what you have.
