Ok this is the first drawing that I have worked on in about a year. This is just a thumbnail to get the major points of the scene worked out but this is Reynir as The Fool card from the Major Arcana. I am not happy with the cat. Must look at Minna's cats and some of your cats and do better.



By the way how do you do that Hide/Show thing? I know it looks huge but is about the actual size of a Tarot card. Do you think I should make the walking staff a shepherd's crook?

Nice composition! Are you planning a Major Arcana set based on the comic? That would be super ambitious but potentially awesome. I don't know about the shepherd's crook. In the best tarot decks, almost all the details that appear on cards have their own symbolism. You should look into what shepherds symbolize and see if that fits the Fool.
Or alternatively you could say you dont care as much about making every single detail symbolic, just have a recognizable Fool card, and be faithful to the character instead. That's valid too.

This looks really, really good! I love how you kept the rich, central symbolism of The Fool but turned it into a SSSS verse - I especially like the cat instead of the dog and I love the feeling of happy naivete in this picture that's coupled with immediate danger... It's also a bit hilarious that there really doesn't seem to be anyone else in the comic that would better fit the role of The Fool than Reynir. 

Taking on the whole Major Arcana is quite a bit of work so I understand if you don't want to, but I'll pretty much worship you for every new piece you make.

Such flawless lineart, such artistic colouring. It actually reminds me a bit of the art style of the Persona games.

RandomTexasReader that looks really good, but I'm sorry about your predicament ): I actually used the flipnote hatena program on my DS/3DS (haha that's what the Sigrun is made with) for years and I use photoshop for the foncier ones, but that's ridiculously expensive? I'm sorry that I don't have anything constructive to help with D:

NOW FOR MY OWN ART!! I had a really, really long car ride today and I ended up getting so bored that I tried a bit of an animation on the 3DS again and wow I am never doing that again. What an awful program. I liked the original one so much better ;_;
