I like this a lot. It's sad, but also peaceful. To me it feels like Lalli has been up all night by the sea and has eventually found a little peace by sunrise.
For some reason I also get a Neon Genesis Evangelion vibe from it, and this improves it even more

So many beautiful arts as tributes today.  I have had a reblog orgy on tumblr for those of you who are there.
Grey Cat, yours is...such a gut-punch (no, don't run away, I like it! I do! But oh, so wrenching on a visceral level).
Piney, Sc0ut...we hug.  I am glad there was contact in canon between Tuuri and Onni, but both of yours have captured that owl dynamic. 
ZanarNaryon - I vote for the second, from behind, it's more dynamic somehow, and it's Tuuri's expression that I think will be better showcased from that angle (assuming it is expression and not posture that will tell the story).
