Gotta love that little monster's expression. ;)

Made some progress on the sculpt, though I'm working super slow because my pages are taking most of my day and energy.

I've been following you for years on DA... I have always loved how you draw horses, drawing animals are one of my favorites. How long have you been doing your webcomic? It's so far along already! Do you have a site?

So, this is something I did around last week/this week!
Next challenge: be consistent enough to be able to draw her twice and not let her end up as just another one-time OC

Yeah, it's there: http://ap.smirtouille.com/Webcomic/index.php
I started it in July this year. Horses and my pen have a long love story, haha. I'm happy to draw them through my comic, along with the rest.

Hey I just spent my entire night drawing these. This was bond to happen one of these days... xD Now I'll have to switch back around a normal sleep/wake time. Hopefully.
These are OC's. Embellishments for a two-handed fiction I've been writing with a friend.
I fought a long time with the first one until I felt like I had learned something and then wanted to apply it to three more eye portraits. *sigh. I should go to sleep now.

First contribution here in weeks...

Len and his horse, a character which actually predates my name. Eventually I will come around to telling his story. It will be probably in comic format. In fact I have several practice comics with his story... floating around... (they will never see the light of day, never.)

So much awesome art!

Here's a little sneakpeek into a little project of mine:

So I have a 2-year-old niece, and as a christmas present for her, I'm going to illustrate a couple of children's stories and make them into a book for her :D I'm intending this to be the front cover when it's finished(either this, aka red riding hood, or a similar thing with Scheherazade from one thousand and one nights), but now I'm just wondering whether I'm making the background a bit too dark for a kid's book...but then the book pages themselves are gonna be fairly bright and colourful, and those are usually what the kids will focus on..and it's not like I can't change the background if I come up with something neat

So pretty, Sumeri! Cool project. I don't think it's too dark, Little Riding Hood is a pretty dark tale of its own.

More characters.

I don't have anything finished to show, but here's a preview of a comic page I'm working on:

(This panel's probably not even finished. I absolutely hate drawing trees.)

Len: Your drawings are always so expressive, even when they are monochromatic! :)

Sumeri: Ooooo, that is a mysterious looking Red! Will you show us the final result?

Smirty: Your art is soooo good!! I love how much you can imagine the character's personality and emotions just by the way you drew the eyes! :O

Piney: Eeee, it's Knifey! :D
Your tree looks pretty good to me!
