Those are some lovely concept drawings,
MintheTea! I´ll be looking foreward to the story! (I especially love the one in the beginning with Juha´s creepy shadow!)
And some equally lovely Paris/Van Gogh-inspired art,
moredhel! And I´m glad your niece also has fun painting! There´s a remarkable amount of paint on the paper and not anywhere else (sorry, I just can´t help but remembering back to my first painting-attempts as a toddler which were apparently... rather messy
:'D)
dmeck, that is a great idea. :'D Only thing to make them perfect would be to make them different colors, or I´d mix them up whenever I don´t fully look up...
I´ll be in Italy for the next two weeks, which means I won´t be here most likely, though that doesn´t really change anything, I´ve been lurking for a while now...
But NEVERTHELESS! Have some art before I leave:
I painted this for my mom on mothersday (never got around to posting it...), as I gifted her a (from my current point of view) an absolutely ugly squirrel-drawing years ago for a birthday and she found it recently and put it up on the fridge. I cringed every time I walked past and decided to make a better one as soon as the opportunity arises.
So here it is! Painted with watercolors.
(please excuse the phone-reflection on it, I had to photograph it after it was already framed as the water twisted the paper too much)
