The colours are lovely, and I like the way you've done the hair!

Oh wow, moredhel, that's really well done! The lighting really gives it depth.
That was easy it is inspired by a music video in wich interresting things were done with lighting.

Agreed with everyone, you've achieved something excellent with those light tones!

I'm sure it helps to have a good reference, but it still takes a lot of skill to transfer that to paper... especially in watercolour!

That’s a really good watercolor painting! I especially like the lighting and how well the colors blend together.

Misused an other music video as a reference (universal death squad by epica). The result is this watercolor:

Hm. I think watercolour works better with bright subjects. It's good, of course, but it seems a little flat. The light on the hair is great, though - there you go, the bright patches are what pop out! I'm enjoying your watercolour experiments.

I recently learned about ATC https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Artist_trading_cards. I made one with colored pencils.

I painted this yesterday. I think I am still making progress in the watercolor craft.

Wow, moredhel, this is just lovely!! Took a moment for the image to load but well worth the wait. Loving how warm this piece feels.

Thank you. I am quite happy with this peace. Did not feel like I should directly recycle it. My wife forbids any recycling of my works but this time I did not want to.

Wooowww I'm in awe of the watercolour and coloured pencil skills I'm only just seeing on this last page! That warm skintone and the textured paper, and the multicolour vibrancy of the iris, I love it! Then somehow making a monotone black/dark grey from watercolours? And those single golden tones <3 I'm excited to see other people's art here too when I have time to go through all the pages!

But anyway, holla any traditional printmakers here! I'm temporarily retired from lithography and etching on account of not having a studio since I graduated, and working on developing my own webcomic instead of "fine" art :'3 I loved seeing Minna's screenprinting assignment after reading aRTD, I miss it all so much! If I had my way, didn't give af about my readers and a "schedule", and was crazy enough, I'd make my comic entirely in woodcuts

I've dabbled in printmaking with linocuts (just recreationally) and have enjoyed it - although you sound like you have a lot of experience in the printmaking area, and with a much wider range of techniques. Lithography and etching sound really neat - I've read a bit about them, but it's never been something I've had the opportunity to do myself.

Here's a linocut I made recently (not the best photograph of it, but hey, you can see it).

I write poetry sometimes.

and the textured paper

I am a total fan of this special paper. But nobody here sells it. And our goverment changed the laws of turnover tax on imports and now it ist much more difficult and expensive to import the paper from china.
