Just thought I'd leave some art here, as it's been awhile. ^^

I discovered a new webcomic called Radio Silence and oh, hecking heck what a beautiful thing it is: http://www.radiosilencecomic.com . Here is an attempt to draw without lines, and it's of the lovely Shy from said comic:

And a drawing for Basse; he asked me to draw him in a 1920's prohibition-style portrait, so this is what I drew:

If you guys have never been on jitsi or Skype with Basse, I recommend it in the highest regard. He is a very good friend and a joy to chat with.

And, finally: I drew a self-portrait as a part of the beachsona drawing meme that I've seen floating around of late:

Woot! Lovely to see the art here; carry on, party people! \o/

I really like Basse's portrait, ginger.

It's still a really cool design John!

Thanks!

I have long considered making a comic, even if its super short, about a poor soul trapped in the Lovecraft dreamlands,
this sketch, and the last one, are vaguely related to that

Mostly done because I really need to practice backgrounds, since I almost never draw those

I dont know what young people wore in 1910 massachusetts, probably longer socks.

First off obviously this is awesome (and so well composed ohhhh my goddd and the colors and the character style etc etc) but also I have a question, how do you color your lines? Do you change uo your colors while lining or do you put them down in one color and go back later to color them?

I color lines as the final step, once I've finished all the coloring and fixed any lineart mistakes, through the lock transparent pixels setting.

Before that all my lines are black or some really ugly, insanely saturated tone.

Well, your opinion is probably the most important in this matter! XD I'm glad that you like it! ^^

I really like Basse's portrait, ginger.

Eeep, thank you, John! ^^

MMMMM CRYSTALS AND LONG SOCKS I LOVE IT ALL! I really like the shading that you chose here! Also, glowy toadstools! I love these cool magical vibes.

Thank yooooou! And I definitely did the initial sketch for that drawing with lines before erasing them. XD And thank you so much for the bit about Basse's portrait! He actually has the most pure smile (you gotta see that loser and his smile) and I am very glad to have drawn it!

I love checking in on this thread. You all are such lovely folks!

Eh, that's is one of the many ideas i've had for the design of an avatar assumed by a deity of the cthulhu mythos. Likely to not even be the final one, I just drew that one digitally because I wanted to try my hand at coloring a space cloak.

Probably not exactly what you expected, sorry for that.

I won't tell more because spoilers.

All of your drawings are lovely, but for some reason this one for me is mesmerizing. It's great, and I can honestly say I love it.

Some OC portraits I did last month~

And on the other end of the spectrum, I drew some puppies :D ~
