It occurred to me that I should be respectful and actually thank you for your work. Looks absolutely fantastic, and looks like some of us are going to appear to put 5-star generals to shame in the future with our salad bars...

I think I'm reasonably literate, but it's been a long day...is there any particular "method to the madness" as to ribbon colors/patterns?  Do they take a color scheme from the chapter covers or something similar to that?  Like, for example, in the American armed forces, the Vietnam Service Ribbon reflects the South Vietnamese flag:

Most of them do take their colors from the chapter covers, although some of the earlier ribbons came out after the chapters were up and picked notable colors from the chapter. There is also a different striping pattern for the chapters that are part of one book.
