Hmm, I think we're thinking of different events. The one I'm thinking of was in 2009, or maybe it was 2010? I can't actually remember. But it was a long time ago. It was an internet-only gift, no printing.
My assumption was that Shoop meant an internet-only thing as well. So, it would just be a matter of making a thread on the forum for it, and everyone putting their fanwork in the thread, and then someone would send the link to Minna. Shoop, can you confirm?
Yeah I was thinking of the digital internet gift (I was pretty young at the time and sending off fanart was scary to me haha). For one thing it'd be insane coordinating the gift to all arrive at once, and also I am not sure asking Minna for her address to pass to approximately a lot of people would go over well haha.
But as for delivering it to Minna I was thinking either a) a tumblr specifically for the purpose, b) a dropbox link (so that we can get all the resolutions and stuff...plus I think it'd be easier for people with audio files/video files/etc yanno) or c) we just make a new thread in the forum that's specifically for people to put the gifts and just point minna towards it.
If we pick a theme, I could probably compose a piece and someone could write lyrics for it.
Theme!! yes. I originally conceived the theme as drawing some cheer-up art, but since it's morphed into a birthday gift...hmm! I honestly just think the theme of birthdays would be cute but if you want an additional theme, anyone mind if I just go for the obvious and suggest cats? She does love them like a whole heckuva lot.
