Actually, there's already a webcomics discussion thread: http://ssssforum.pcriot.com/index.php?topic=20.0
Also I find it very interesting there's a webcomic that has the city I was born in in it's title... (talking about Dresden here)
kind of getting along: :germany: :uk:

Do you mind if we merge this with the other thread?  I'm afraid it will demote you as thread-creator, but it would make topic-finding easier for readers.

I'm not sure if it removes the thread maker count, actually.  I can delete threads without affecting anyone's post count, at least...
Anyway, I'll merge this thread once I get my computer out of my backpack.
Feel free to PM.

I don't mind! I don't care about being thread creator! I just am bored with this hiatus and want to read some new comics! Go ahead!! ;D

It may sound silly but... did anyone read the comics Minna herself mentions on the left side of the pages ? 'Unsouded' is the only one I found mentioned in this thread (unless I overlooked some others).
I tried 'Pictures of you' and found it to be pretty good.
The prospect of a man in his 40's looking back to his youth might seem dangerously boring at first, but the author knows how to build a character and tell a story... and I read the whole thing. Did anybody else give it a try ?

I checked them out, and bookmarked the ones I liked (and remembered to bookmark):)
~TMK
~Saint for Rent
~Namesake
-Solstoria (I started reading just when our house internet ran out...and just forgot to go back :/)
-Cucumber Quest (from the artd list) was awesome but I don't have enough internet to read at my binge-y pace ;___;

Bad Machinery and Hemlock were the first webcomics I ever read and they were what dragged me into the eternal void that is webcomics. They both have really unique, quirky art and the storylines are great. Bad Machinery updates with a full page every weekday and continues updating with smaller strips even in breaks but Hemlock's updating schedule is a bit sporadic at the moment.
I could recommend a lot more but the best stuff I've read is:
My Cardboard Life
Plume
Prague Race
Lost Nightmare

Not sure exactly which of those I actually tried through Minna's links but, here's a rundown:

Power Nap > tried it, not my thing
Namesake > still reading
Solstoria > tried it, but too slow to update
Saint for rent > tried it, not my thing
Next Town Over > tried it, not my thing
The End > still reading
Thistil Mistil Kistil > still reading
The Forgotten Order > tried it, not really my thing
Slightly Damned > tried it, liked it for a while (it was kinda like Two Kinds except with much better handling of the same themes), but I didn't like the direction it was going to eventually, plus updates were getting too slow
Unsounded > tried it, not my thing
Bittersweet candybowl > think I tried it, not my thing
The Din > still reading, but slow updates, not sure I'll keep reading
Pictures of you > tried it, not my thing
Take Off > read all of it (it's now completed), loved it a lot, gave me feels. The author's next comic starts on monday, eeeee
Widdershins > still reading
Fluent: :fr: :gb:
Some knowledge: :it:
Attempting to learn again: :de:
Passive familiarity: :es: :br: :ad: :ro:

I'm absolutely nuts about Unsounded, it's incredible. I love the female/PoC visibility in it, too. The art is great, the story is great, the characters are diverse and three dimensional, and the world building is also very good! I'm really bummed that I didn't enter the fan art contest they had recently. :(
Find me on tumblr.
