I'm presently making one of my rare trips to a big shopping centre (husband is getting a haircut). Sitting in the shopping mall waiting for him, and look up to see a big sign proclaiming 'MEET A MINION!' I think it's maybe an ad for a film?
But it took me a minute to realise that it didn't say MINNION with two ns!

I can't help seeing this as ironic. Looks like someone jammed together puzzle pieces that fit in shape but don't actually belong together :D Subtle history/culture commentary? We will never know.

... you go to a friend of a friend who had offered to lend some clothes for a special event, and see her two years old daughter's plushes, and one of them is a lynx, and you don't know her enough to explain why it is so cool without seeming strange.

i was visiting friends this weekend, and they were talking with eachother behind me while I borrowed the computer to check the forum (SUE ME) and then multi just mentioned "stand still stay silent" and i just whipped around like "dID YOU SAY SOMETHING" and then they laughed at me for ten minutes
