From deep in the bowels of Pg 282:

corncobman
Torbjörn: 8 [| "If the bridge was already broken, how did you get across?"
Sigrun: :| "Magic?"

LooNEY_DAC -> corncobman
"STOP!
Who would cross
This Bridge of Death
Must answer me
These questions three
Ere the other side he see."

koalalou -> LooNEY_DAC
What...is the average velocity of a candle-laden Cat Tank?

Kahli -> koalalou
African or European cattank? ;-)
or if you want to put it in SSSS context: Icelandic or Swedish cattank?

koalalou -> Kahli
...I don't know thaAAAAAHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH

Noodly Appendage -> koalalou
What's your favourite colour of cat-tank?
Red! No, blue! NoAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHH

LooNEY_DAC -> koalalou
"…And that's how we got across, Torbjorn."

Kahli -> LooNEY_DAC
:-D It went full circle! I'm so happy right now! Have I ever mentioned how much I love this fandom?

Aprillen -> Kahli
And it's a lucky thing I have access to tea right now, because this is a strong drinking prompt. :)

corncobman -> koalalou
How much bridge can a Cat Tank cross, if a Cat Tank can cross bridge?

As much bridge as a Cat Tank can cross if a Cat Tank can cross bridge.

I'm just gonna leave this here.

Mainly because this is probably one of the more obvious crossovers.

What of the potential for interaction with Harry Potter-verse? The worlds share some key elements, like a small demographic pool, the limited geographic area where society actually takes place, presenco of magix, the existence of trolls, a rather cobbled together level of technology/development, in some ways lagging behind our world and in other fields ahead of us, and a need to re-evaluate the relation with the greater world outside. Character-wise I'm still drawing blanks, though. But the world would most certainly fit.

FIREFLY

TAKE MY LOVE, TAKE MY LAND
TAKE ME WHERE I CANNOT STAND.
I DONT CARE, IM STILL FREE
YOU CANT TAKE THE SKY FROM MEEEEEEEEE.

TAKE ME OUT INTO THE BLACK,
TELL THEM IM NOT COMIN' BACK.
BURN THE LAND AND BOIL THE SEA
YOU CANT TAKE THE SKY FROM MEEEEEEEEE.

THERES NO PLACE I'D RATHER BE
SINCE I'VE FOUND SERENITY...
YOU CANT TAKE THE SKY FROM MEEEEEEEEE...

GAH! ALL HE WANTED TO BE WAS A LEAF ON THE WIND!

THIS would be perfect. Western AND space!!! And the whole "not-entirely-legitimate salvage operation because we need the cash" fits perfectly!

Nah, but the obvious connection has been pointed out more than once when Emil does mess things up.

I would expect Emil to be a firebender, what with the explosions n' all that.

This is weird, and not precisely a crossover per-se, but I'm imagining Fallen London in Minna's style. The slow trickle of information, the wonderful dark, the cats, the terrifying creatures... I do believe it would work rather well! And the off-beatness of our favorite crew would fit perfectly among the bizarre denizens of the Underzee. Hmm... I'm now seeing Sigrun with an Exceptional Hat...

Tuuri: Airbender
Lalli: Waterbender
Sigrun: Nonbender
Mikkel:Earthbender
Emil:Nonbender
Reynir:Firebender

The way I see it is more like:

Tuuri and Lalli are waterbenders, or at least, from the water tribe. Tempted to make Tuuri a non-bender, a la Sokka. She makes up for it with her technical proficiency.
Sigrun: Firebender - personality.
Emil: Firebender - personal affinity.
Mikkel: Earthbender. Again, personality.
Reynir: Airbender - Desire for freedom. Though, on that basis, this can also be an argument for Tuuri as an airbender.

It has been a 100 years. Tuuri and Lalli find Reynir, the avatar, stuck in a crate. The Fire Nation of Norway/Sweden has been kicking a lot of ass on the basis of being vikings with flamethrowers. Iceland, land of the airbenders, has been burninated. Finland is Finland. Too much forest and lakes to properly burninate. Danemark? Burninated, aside from the super stronghold of Ba Sing Se, I mean, Bornholm. Emil, a young impetuous firebender with the intent of making a name for himself sets out to hunt the avatar under the command of Sigrun, one of the best Fire Nation commanders who takes him under her wing. Along the way, Mikkel, also known as THE BOULDER, joins the avatar group and they have adventures, mostly running away from the Fire Nation and bringing back balance to the world. Also the spirits are going amok and people are turning into monsters because of that. The Fire Nation's answer is to burn things. No points for originality, but the avatar will have to learn how to do the spirit thing, led only by Lalli and his sad-faced mentor Onni. Prospect of success: low. The Fire Nation just kicks too much ass.

Aaahh, the awseomeness paragraph has made me see.
 I just thought of Sigrun as a sort of Sokka character. You know, leader-type who may not have bending but can still kick butt with their mad skills. Firebender does totally fit her personality though. (It makes sense that Lalli and Tuuri are both waterbenders, because they are related.)
