I tried with SoundHound but either it is isn’t an existing song, or (more likely) I cannot hum the tune. Irritating.

Thanks Buteo and dmeck! I'm really glad you're enjoying this. Following the music with the new lyrics is exactly the way I'm doing it. (and as you can probably tell I'm having a good time on that :) )

Jitter, don't worry. Even without a tune the rhythm is great! About singing, you already have so many talents... Couldn't have them all, right? ;)

And today the musical continues with the band's drummer! Mikkel "Jack" Madsen shows his skills are not limited to drumming in this adaptation of one White Stripe's song he called "Five Nations Armies". Here we get a glimpse of the past, and possible future of a man of many talents...  :mikkel: :headbang:

I was thinking of next prompt (I am cheating as a few ideas are percolating )

I recently watched the movie rise of the guardians (I really like the movie). 

It is nearing Easter in it.  One of the things the Easter bunny says is Easter is hope.  Considering it is close to Easter, we can do hope.

Also st paddy’s day just passed.  (It is a big deal in Boston.  Though I think more as a drinking holiday than anything else.)

This made me think of Ireland. Than the Fae.  I know many Icelanders have a strong belief in elves.  Finnish lore also have a type of elves. Plus other cultures.  The Menuhue in Hawaii are really interesting.   They are believed to have built the Heiau, that are all over Hawaii.  I love that type of thing and one of our vacations to Kaua’i, we went to visit them.  They were definitely a place of power. I still think about hoe awed I was of the spaces.

So maybe if we don’t want hope, we can do Fae, elves, or any of those people of nature

Every culture I have ever encountered has Fae of some kind. Sounds good.

Yes, I also think that Fae (and all those other magical beings) is a fine choice!

However before that I'd like to bring to you the last part of the musical, and a few words.

I really loved doing those music adaptations. Thanks to it I heard dozens of musics, saw dozens of videos, read dozens of lyrics... Some were "old friends", some I barely heard, a few I had never heard before. It was a great adventure where I sung, drummed (with my fingers), sometimes cried, sometimes laughed. And all that made me realize my life had become maybe a bit too silent, and that I need to bring more music into it.  :sparkle: ^-^ :sparkle:

And all that said, there was one member of the Not-So-Silent Explorers still to take the lead...

So the crowd cheers when our dear Tuuri "Amy" Hotakainen steps ahead and grabs the mic, and even more when she invites Reynir to join her. (And of course he's happy to help. Among other things, like walking into other's spaces, it's something he just does... )  :tuuri: :reynir:

In this scene a brave guy risks everything and does all he can to help her love, lost in a dark place... It's called "Bring Me To Life".

(Note that the parts between brackets () mean it's Reynir singing, and how he manages to sound so different from his previous appearance singing "Help"! This guy really has talent!)

grey, that was great! Stirred up all the feelings, then gave the happy ending.

So happy to hear that this project brought music back to you. I shudder to imagine life without it.

I'm working on a very short story for the Fae prompt. It's not ready, but I made a little edit to go with it, and I'll just start by that.
