When Sirus said her name, Amelia half-assedly put her hand in the air for a moment as she looked around, but quickly focused her attention back on the map.
:iceland: "I have a couple of questions before we go. First off, what is the procedure for emergency extraction? Second, the route goes through this major city, uhmm, Inverness? Do we have solid intel on the status of the bridge over the straight? Whether still standing and not blocked by vehicles?"
Sirus stopped where he was going with the others and walked back to the map, next to Amelia. He brushed his chin.
:iceland: "For your first question, it is hard to answer. It all depends of the situation, but as a guideline you all will contact us through the radio and get immediately to a closest point of the coast."
The man pointed the island's seashores.
:iceland: "If contacting through the radio isn't possible, we will wait three weeks for you to get in Aberdeen. This all depends of the situation though."
Sirus glanced to his side as he saw everybody else get outside of the room.
:iceland: "To your second question: no, we don't", the man cracked into a smile.
:iceland: "That's why you are here, going to get books and investigate the area. If such problems come into the way, you as a leader have to decide what to do. We at the other end will of course help."
He glanced at the door.
:iceland: "Do you have other questions? If yes, I can escort you to the maintaining area personally later."
There seemed to be already someone else to escort the eager ones.
Behind the control room's door was waiting a young man with a very bony structure, a shaved head and wispy mustache. He twitched slightly when he saw the huge men and few women come there.
:norway: "Hey, Jaakko Yläkangas from the Finnish military unit of Keuruu", he introduced himself with slightly shaky hands, but stared them all one by one to the eyes.
:norway: "Vilma Holmquist asked me to escort you all to the maintaining area, when you were finished."
Jaakko looked anything than comfortable, but he tried to maintain his professionalism.
He waved his hand as a sign to follow and started the walking in the hallway.
Eiln stood up, rising much higher than Anne. She felt shorter. She stared wide-eyed for moment, someone remembers me. Elin tried to remember her reasons for coming on this trip, she found her mind empty.
Elin narrowed her eyes, this woman was familiar, " :sweden: Uh, yeah it's Elin Bergström. You do seem pretty familiar, but I don't recall exactly where I've seen you before... sorry."
Elin felt stupider by the moment, she was already starting to regret coming on the trip. Too late to turn back now, hopefully she'd at least be able to make some friends or maybe punch some stuff here.
" :sweden: So, you worked for the cleansers?"
Anne looked at the Elin's surprised expression and smiled in amusement. She waved her hand as a sign to be calm as she walked behind the huge man with a small cat.
:sweden: "Don't be sorry, most of the scouts are hard to remember", she said and poked slightly fun of her own profession.
Anne nodded to the taller woman's question.
:sweden: "Yeah, I do night and day scouts in the cleansed areas, so I'm kind of a co-worker to the cleansers. That's why I know you."
Se glanced after their leader, but then decided to just follow the lead of the man, who would escort them.
:sweden: "Well, of course I would know one of the leaders. But what you were before doesn't change this situation."
Anne stretched out her arm to shake Elin's. She looked excited.
:sweden: "Now we are group members here. Nice to meet you, I'm Anne-Inga Thorvaldsen. Shortly Anne."
Those who followed Jaakko closely would have started to see the maintaining area. It had inside there ships in need of fixing, few tanks and some amount of vans. One door had a sign of "equipment hall".
:norway: "You should be able to find your tank in the D-17 slot", Jaakko commented off-handedly and cleared his throath.
