I swear I'm going to actually talk on here at some point, but for now, art

So I bought a huge gardening hat and of course my first instinct is to draw one of my characters wearing it

and then I'm majorly behind but here's my three inktober drawings in bad lighting with grainy photo quality

Kelpie: BIG HAT BIG SCARF YES I love your style :D
Windy: Dude what your bridge is awesome. The scene you captured is really peaceful (tranquil? like the prompt?), and the dot shading is A+

If I were to do Inktober I'd be sad and unhappy because I can't ever keep it up, I forget, but I did finally finish another commission.

Am notified of private messages via email.

I FINALLY finished this self portrait that I've been working on since late July, which I have spent a total of around 24 hours on (if not more). So I'm posting it absolutely everywhere I can make people see it XD. At least 2/3 of the drawing time went into the blanket alone! My grandma knitted it for me. <3

Keeper, that is so you. And the blanket is gorgeous.
Just catching up here on the art museum thread :D

I did an InkTober that is *shock horror* using the official prompt and is not SSSS related in any way!  An autobiographical piece - the prompt was "Cruel."

"When I was 15, I was confronted with the cruel truth - I HAVE NO JAZZ IN MY SOUL.  I have no JAZZ in my soul.  I have no JAZZ in my soul."  The empty bars are marked only with a chord; the intention is that there is a solo there and the soloist is expected to improvise, more or less using the notes in that chord.  This is an ability I lack to this day.
Why yes, I wore a Farrah haircut in high school.

I actually did Inktober this year! (If shoddy little fineliner sketches actually count that is... ;))

Like Antillanka I decided to draw Cryptids, but specifically ones featured on the highly entertaining Cryptid Keeper podcast. This explains some of the... stranger... elements which are mostly podcast specific in-jokes.

I'll post a few here - all 31 are up on my Flickr

Wyrm, these are dope. I’m especially a fan of the Tatzslwurm and the Fresno Nightcrawler, and the Ensfield Monster reminds me of the dumb ways to die video :D I’ll have to check that podcast out!
