You haven't read aRTD, have you? ;)
I...I actually have. But I kinda rushed it because I got into the plot when I should do other things and didn't pay enough attention to details or symbols. I need to reread...
The endless knot is simultaneously more complicated and less standardized than the Hannunvaakuna.
Yeah, I know it's more complicated, that's why I wrote about it being simplified :D It was just my first impression. Didn't know about the Hannunvaakuna, though!

Thank you, I totally forgot about it! :D It's also in a miniature on an open aRTD tab, I really should pay more attention to things;;

Aw man, these look pretty cool. Have you used them?

I've not used them, but if I can contact Minna, I'm planning to sell them (and others like them) and split the proceeds with her.   8)

Not sure if this is the correct page for it, but since this is most definitely an art/display piece:

An as of yet headless WIP Tuuri doll. What do you all think of the stomach "chub"? Is it chubby enough? Too boxy reminds me of Mikkel for some reason I don't understand, oh god?

Updates for my Tuuri WIP. She's coming along nicely, although the uniform is being a pain. >_< "Warning" for headless doll ahead:

The pants are meant for male military figures, and won't let themselves be sewn/styled the way I had thought, so I have to think about doing boot covers over the pants. And belts. And a jacket closure and styling for the collar. And a mask once I have a head. And...and...and...*dies*

Nice work. It is coming along. How are you going to fashion the head? If you need any silver-blond hair I have hair from my mini pony that is the right color for Tuuri.

Olga, that's amazing! I don't think we have a glass painter yet. Can you tell us something about that beautiful piece of glass you used as background? It's almost the colours of turquoise or malachite. Or is it in fact a stone? Do you paint on sea-glass?

Ohmygod!!!! THAT'S GORGEOUS!!!!!

Thank you so much! =)

Hello and welcome Olga, I think you're the first to show us a SSSS glass painted :) Do you want to tell us more about you in the introduction thread ?

Hello and thank you! Suppose I am really the first glass painter here. About introduction thread — done! )

Olga, that's amazing! I don't think we have a glass painter yet. Can you tell us something about that beautiful piece of glass you used as background? It's almost the colours of turquoise or malachite. Or is it in fact a stone? Do you paint on sea-glass?

Thank you!! I used crackled triplex glass, it looks like that:

Then I painted on it using special contours and colours for glass:

As a background I used "Turkish blue" hue and metallic foil on the reverse side, and acrylic paint with special 'frost' effect on the front one.

I suppose it's not a problem to make some sort of workshop with photoes to explain it step by step, if it's interesting.

I saw this on Tumblr and thought it was wonderful!!

Thank you very much!!!

Same thing here!!
I wish I had it as a keychain! <3

I usually use it as a magnet or badge. I think this is too sharp and fragile for a keychain...
