Does anyone have any suggestions on white hair dye/spray?
I have light brown hair.
If you wanted to dye your own hair white, you'd have to go through a LOT of bleaching which damages your hair severely if you don't take enough care of it. Spray can look a little uneven/sticky, but you should be able to find it at Halloween or costume stores (which will be popping up everywhere
very very soon ) for not all that much money
Personally I would recommend just buying a white wig, since buying a blonde wig then redying it is a lot of work in order to get something that you could easily find yourself. Also, wigs look great consistently, and you'll only have to re-style it once every couple years if you store the wig well (on a stand or head or something reasonably round and head-shaped
) and keep it clean.

Arda is a FANTASTIC company with very high-quality, thick wigs that take lots of styling very well. More expensive, but the shipping isn't bad, and you get the quality you pay for,
especially in the short wigs.

Epiccosplay has absolutely
lovely silky wigs. They're a bit thinner, but if you want a long wig (70cm or more) I would recommend here over arda if you don't need much crazy styling since these look FANTASTIC in pictures and untangle very easily. About as expensive as Arda, free shipping (I believe)

Wigisfashion has a sketchy-sounding name, but their wigs are lovely and high-quality and recommended by lots of cosplayers and people who wear the wigs as, well, fashion. I'm planning on ordering two wigs from there for my Jasper cosplay and sewing them together
Very low-priced wigs, but the shipping is a bit painful, since I believe it's coming from China. These tend to be thinner than Arda (but then again nearly everything is)

Lucaille is kind of super duper sketchy-looking and their shipping is killer expensive as well but they have a HUGE variety of wigs. These do tend to be on the thin side, though, just a warning.
Speaking from personal experience, buying wigs off of Amazon is VERY dangerous because a lot of sites use pictures of wigs that are taken from other websites, not the actual wig, and you can end up with some trash wigs. My friend Sydney (not on the forum) has had numerous
terrible experiences with Amazon wigs (one white wig we named "Dead Bleached Animal the Second" and another black one they described as having "helmet head worse than I had that one time I was wearing a bicycle helmet for six hours in the sun") and they can also turn up very, very plastic and shiny (not the prettiest in photos).
If you do feel the need to search Amazon (lots of cheap wigs there), make sure to check reviews and seller ratings
very very closely and if a reviewer says that the wig is awful, don't buy it. Also! If they post pictures of themselves in the cosplay, check those out, because the color is often different than in the advertised picture.
If you want a character-specific recommendation, me and my pal
freddiethefantastic are good at finding high-quality, pretty wigs from a variety of (safe! not-sketchy!) stores and we will gladly help with any questions you need :0
