What if we started a band? Like Eric Whitacre's international choir or the youtube symphony orchestra? It would take a lot of organizing, but it might be fun.

This is something I absolutely agree with, only it'll probably be as difficult to organise as you'd think.

We would have to figure out what kinds of instruments/singing people are capable of and then find a song. Then everyone would have to learn and record it, and we would have to have one central person capable of technology  and editing (aka not me) to get everyone together.

Oooh, I can do flute, or ukulele, or piano. Not so much technology, at least not at that scale.

*Raises one hand* I can sing. And I'm pretty sure I could try again a slow medieval song with an harp. If I borrowed one *Sighs* One day, I'll be rich and will take lessons. Or try the hammer dulcimer. I need more lives.

I play viola, guitar, some piano, and some flute (but I don't have one because I had an allergic reaction to it long story short) and I sing.

Congrats! There should be a party thread, where anyone who's recently been promoted can go celebrate or something.
