Suddenly we hear a loud knocking. It’s the Inner Door! Someone has arrived again, and in a hurry. We check the log and yes, the quarantine is finished. So, we open the door while calling for cake. @tehta bursts into the square and looks around wildly.

“Relax, fried. We know who you wish to meet. You are in luck, they are in town tonight. As is evident from the fact your cake has been started already.”

Thank you for the warm welcome, Jitter, Opaque, RanVor, Yastreb, and catbirds!! I hope there's some cake left, to serve as a breakfast cake! Will there be a different dinner cake, as well?

Quarantine passed swiftly, mostly thanks to the haiku chain.
(Also thanks to some stories I wrote about some of your more famous citizens, which... Well, it might be best if the subjects didn't read them.)

While I've been off "scouting" (being really busy with work, sigh..  :P), things have been busy here. Welcome to the safe zone, tehta! I think there are a few cake crumbs left on the platter, does anyone mind if I lick them up? I know, it seems gross, but the plate will be washed, hey?  :))

Not everyone knows this, but fox saliva is an efficient agent for removing stains from baked goods! True story!
