Yes, it was apparently very popular for skateboarding - although the skaters often had to spend the first half hour clearing the latest junk out of it.

There were all kinds of rumours about the place - the silliest being that the daughter of the family drowned in the pond and her parents wasted away from grief - but apparently it was a riding school that went out of business in about 2002.

Well, this is one for all those people who are uncertain that buildings in SSSS could get that decrepit after "only" 90 years of neglect, when here you've shown some with only 15 years.
