 Also here a video I've made before the others. It was one of the first I started to touch the editing.

Technically it worked well. I liked the transitions where the colors blur and become brighter, sort of fade to light as opposed to fade to dark Some where a tad fast, even with the fas pace of the song it’d be best in my opinion if the watcher gets to grasp what the picture was before it’s gone I liked the way you use several very different transitions. The first part up to “Year 90” worked very well.

In terms of entertainment value, I couldn’t make out any of the lyrics of the song. So it worked (well) as background to the pictures, but the story that was told was a summary of much of Adventure 1. This is fine, but the videos I like the most are ones where pics from the comic create a story with the lyrics. Here I can’t tell if this is the case Sometimes they are funny such as “Highschool never ends”, sometimes touching like “Sound of silence”. So now that you know how to do it, maybe try a song with clearer lyrics

Gaelle, I'm happy that you waded through Necromancy, since this thread (that I haven't noticed before) has a lot of potential.

I will second basically everything that Jitter said. including that "fade to bright" works great and it's all a little too fast. That little "animation" when Kitty open her eyes is perfect!
But, being no specialist, I believe that it would be more "visually consistent" with less types of transition and kinds of "camera" displacement.
As she said too, it's kind of a "trailer" for the first adventure. It will probably attract more people to read SSSS!
Creating a story using the images from the comic and a song would be a step ahead, and a challenge, but I'm sure that you would make it fine. I'll be looking forward to see the next one
(it would also be fantastic if you could use some of your excellent artworks!)

I agree, it's too fast on certain parts, I will work on that, promise!
As for the relation between lyrics and video, there isn't really one. I did look up the lyrics (because I couldn't make them out either), and they're pretty repetitive. The fact that the official music video for Midnight City doesn't strictly tie in with the lyrics either shows they're not really that important compared to the melody that (in my opinion) is what is truly memorable about this song. Still, I tried to match some of the lyrics to the pictures though, like Lalli's eyes seeming to light up when the lyrics say "The night city grows, look and see her eyes, they glow"; or panels of Sleipnope and the ghosts looming around to the lyrics "waiting for the right time"... but that's about it. ^^"

But like Grey said, my intention was more to make a sort of "trailer" for adventure one, rather than to tell a story with the song I chose. I will definitely try to do that next time though, if I find the right song. ^^"

As I said already, the song works well as the background music for the pictures (or the other way around)! And it is a beautiful song.

BTW it now occurs to me that all these (at least the ones I’ve seen, many of the older ones are dead links)  are to (more or less) contemporary songs. Having one on a traditional ballad, shanty or drinking song would be great to see!

I don't really have any great feedback (I think that anything I would've said has been said by Jitter and Grey), but I'd like to say that I enjoyed this video! It's nice to see a new fanvideo, and it was cool looking back onto Adventure 1.
