Moe !!

When Australia was in the contest for the first time, i was SO much hoping, that they would win, because THEN all the europeans would go to australia and THEN it would be all upside down and vice versa; we would have to watch the show matching their timetable. Oooo...whole europe would be messed up. :)

But then i was told, that the show would be held in europe anyway and i found that quite boring.

Yeah, it'd be kind of cool if it was held in Australia, but in that case it's likely that a lot would not be able to go due to the distance/expense.

Yeah.... if Australia wins, the contest will be held in ONE OF THE EUROPEANS COUNTRY/CITY.

sorry, Australia, Eurovision will be never in Australia, even if you win. stop trying. let europeans have fun together.

I'm so sad that Montenegro didn't make it to the final, I was rooting for them. :( My favourite of all the acts this year is Italy, though.

No need to duck. Any country which can produce this has definitely earned its place in Eurovision

I knooooooow! Montenegró's act was beautiful  :'( too bad helicopter hair didn't make it though to the final.

I am personally very delighted to see the return of epic sax guy for Moldova however!!!!!

My favorite one so far!! But the Ukrainian rock this year should be good too, i think, at least by the preview was catching.

Also Sweden was nice (5/5 Emils!!!)
And Belarus as well
I can't really choose the third place in my top between them...

This year's Eurovision Song Contest is not rich in memes (We have only Epic Sax Guy and yodel, seriously?!). But finally we have a Disney prince whom we deserved (Croatia) and elves (Belarus). I hope that Belarus will win, because it will be VERY funny.

Uh, so I just found out that my dad taught Welsh to the singer representing the UK and just....... wow? I had no idea. My parents contacted me to ask if I was available to talk because they had something important to tell me, and it turns out they wanted to make sure I knew before Eurovision because they know how much me and my friends love it and how much of a kick we'd get out of the information. We even found pictures! I'm more hyped for this than I've been for any UK act ever!!!!!! Also I'll be waking up at 4am to watch live. Timezones aren't gonna stop me!!!!!

I had never heard of Eurovision before I began following the comic Scandinavia and the World which was mentioned a few times in the SSSS comments. I will check it out this year and see for myself.

Current thoughts:
Belarus - yay for my homeland. Their only advantage here is being more notable than the rest. Not many chances of getting anywhere above 10th place, IMHO.
Italy - the most likely winner, but the song is rather generic and forgettable.
Belgium - the worst vocals I've ever heard on Eurovision.
Portugal - some say he's the best of all contestants this year, but I'm not one of them.
Australia, Bulgaria, France - the singers are pretty, but their songs are meh. Bulgaria stands out by being generic pop stuff from the radio, but that guy is only better because the rest are bad.
Ukraine - relatively good compared to others, but the vocals are bad. The song is awful on its own.
The show's hosts - for heaven's sake, they are so annoying. What were the organizers thinking? Everyone on the Internet is making fun of them, apparently.
The rest: I've forgotten them already! What an underwhelming Eurovision.
