Jureeya: forest Lalli is pretty - nice greens.

Unlos: great Laufey/Sigrun. I'm no artist, but the problem with the right eye may be not so much that it's too high, but that it doesn't open wide enough or extend far enough down the face, maybe? But it's very like both of them.

Ok so I was just browsing and looking through the art and being all ooh pretty art and then I'm like hey look it's Sigrun that looks like Laufey! And then I read that you actually were intending that. So good job because I recognized her without knowing it was supposed to be her.

Mélusine, Róisin, Urbicande, Feartheviolas: Thank you! And I'm so happy you like it, Laufey Trying to make the portrait look like a real person was an interesting and fun challenge. I've fixed the eye, but to avoid cluttering the thread I'm putting it in the original post, with the old one under a spoiler in case anyone wants to see what the old eye looked like. And I must say that the function that allows you to manipulate, and plain draw right on top of the old things, is a wonderful thing with digital art. The same mistakes in a not-digital project will often lead me to rage-quitting halfway.

I finally got around to the "draw the characters in your clothes!" Only Tuuri and Sigrun, because I'm rather lazy, with the only two significant outfits I wore this week.



Turri is wearing my mint sweater over my navy dress, with black yoga pants underneath because it's cold in my house and I've been home alone all week. It's a lazy outfit. Sigrun is wearing the outfit I wore for Easter this year, the first year I've chosen not to wear a dress. Instead, a white button-up blouse with a black blazer jacket and black jeans. I don't have a lot of pants that aren't black.
