Yes to all of that.  OTOH, once Minna shows us the young Hotakainens, we can start building new headcanons.  Daéa Reina, I know you won't let us down with more beautiful artwork, like your drawings of Lallimama and Lallipapa.  What would grandma say...?  (Daéa promptly curls up in distress, hands over ears, at the barrage of guilt-tripping...  ;) )

Get ready for the wall of text.

It's supposed to be from here, just after the Karlstad Disaster and Emil's lauding as 'the Hero of Karlstad'. At that point, the higher-ups decided to brand Emil as 'the Face of the Cleansers', meaning his image was everywhere. This is why I wrote what I did in this Author's Note. It's also why Emil hates it so much: the same swine who left most of them to die are now using his image to recruit; and also, his successes in PR are born of his passionate conviction that what he's telling people is the truth: the Cleansers are Sweden's future, and one of the best paths any Swede can take. The kind of artifice that the poster represents, Image exalted over Reality, becomes more and more bothersome to him as the years go by.

I wanted Sigrun look a bit more like his dad, so he has the beard too, and Sigrun has no male variant, so I picked a similar sounding name


Reynir -> Reyndis

okay, this is not how I expected, but instead of one braid, two, cuz why not?


Tuuri -> Tuuri

Turned out so cute.... like a young Onni ;3; but they are siblings, so I suppose the similarities between them is okay. and I realized I can't draw chubby guys so well. Also Tuuri is mostly used as male name.
