This needs to be a postcard. Stat.

Also the braidydactyl is *awesome.* I want one.

so late even the comic updated before i got home hahahaa ha aha

omg art
mad robin: so many people have commented on it there's not much more for me to say but I kinda wanna tattoo it on my heart
Cheesecake: the braidydactyl is beautiful i want to tattoo it on my heart as well
Piney: !!!!!!!!!!!!!! *clutches chest*

"BUT HAIZ DID U DRAW ANYTHING ON THE PLANE"
why yes I did

what we see here is firebender!Emil and waterbender!Lalli
aaaaaaaaaaand some czech gibberish
two verses from this song that honestly doesn't fit THAT WELL but
first verse starts with "I like the sea"
second verse starts with "I like the fire"
there's a third verse that starts with "I like you" but that is. completely irrelevant.

and then
there's this

my heart yearns to create more road to el dorado edits

i should honestly go to sleep now
you'll know where to find me.

Cheesecake: braidydactyl is the awesomest.  ;D

Piney: AWWWWWWWWWWWWWWW!!!!! Also happy possibly belated Easter to you too.

Haiz: ...Sigrun would do exactly that. It's a disturbingly accurate crossover. Also your benders are awesome, I especially like Emil's pose! Nice linework. :3

Aaaaah, so much to say, and so little coherent thought with which to express it  :-[ (your arts are all so pretty, it just makes me super happy to see it!)

Rabbit - It was way back (this thread grows so very quickly!), but I loved your Lalli journal, both the idea and the art (which oh my gosh epic atmospheric lightning storms are the best!).

Kahli - loving the easter eggs ^_^ most definitely artsy enough for this thread, and I'm really impressed by how tidy the final product looked (my own attempts at dyeing have always been very messy)  Applause for some egg-celent stuff :P I'll show myself to the skammekroken now shall I…..

Mad Robin - Heheh, that's a great idea there and boy did it set me laughing :P I especially love the warm colours and flowers, a bit of a contrast from reality :P

Piney - Happy Easter indeed! What an adorable smiling bunny-cat. A few pages in and Reynir is becoming a serious contender for position of most fantastic facial expressions, which also means some will make it over to Piney-style *woohoo*

Cheesecake - I may have an unnatural fondness of Dinosaurs (or flying reptiles from the Messozoic I guess if people are going to be tricky), so this randomness definitely struck a chord, even if there's no explanation for it :D

Haiz - Swooshy swirly magic thingies!!!!! (Or firebending/airbending, which is equally awesome - heheh, of course Emil would be a fire bender, and wearing a stylish fire nation outfit to boot :P). Even your sketches are lovely, and I like how dynamic they feel ^_^ El-Dorado is also a brilliant crossover idea. It just has so much fantastic material, and I imagine that the whole thing being SSSS-ified would be fantastic

Also, a little late but Happy Easter and Pasg Hapus to y'all! Hope you all celebrated and enjoyed it in whichever way you saw fit and that you'll all get lots of discount chocolate tomorrow!

wOW BLANKET SO COOL TO EVERYBODY!! so much art, so little typing motivation...

Specifically I do love Piney's Reynir (so happy! so festive!) and Haiz's sketches! They are Too Accurate and I love them so much. Your pencils have a Great Feel to them and Sigrun would so do that these are perfect

(SIGRUN SO WOULD)
thanks guys!! avatar crossovers have been done before, but someone brought it up in the crossover thread so I was inspired. (also Lalli is waterbending!! he would so be a waterbender. especially considering the moon spell thing hahah) Swirly swooshies are indeed my Specialty.

and yes the el dorado crossover just FITS SO WELL
you probably saw them but it's probably my favourite crossover, so I'm gonna link to my previous screencap edits:

Cheesecake: I never thought that someday I would say something like that ... But it's true! Pterodactyl with red braid is lovely!

Heehee, yes. I think he's now my favorite character, so of course I'm going to draw him a lot. :> What I like about his faces is that so many of them can be written as emoticons.

Piney: AWWWWWWWWWWWWWWW!!!!! Also happy possibly belated Easter to you too.

So enthusiastic, thank you!

Mad Robin:
I can die happy now -- you've illustrated my Beach Week fantasy for the crew.   :D
(And thanks to Laufey for the "Bahama" link -- the ideal background!  Who are these Veðurguðirnir people?  They've taken over my YouTube, and now I'm listening to "Heima Skyr og Appelsin".... which I think translates to "Yogurt with Apple Juice"?!?)

Aaaa that beach picture! The hair-flowers! The Sigrun! The everybody-trying-to-shove-Lalli-in-the-water! (which is the Most Best part, IMHO) ;D
This needs to be a postcard. Stat.

Everyone's wearing the most best outfits.  I like how Braidy's Aloha shirt has a very faint version of the pattern from his lopapeysa.  Sigrun looks super badass even while drinking a frothy drink from a coconut.  And of course Emil would be wearing more revealing swim trunks than Lalli.  (Naturally the kitty-boy doesn't want to go in the water...)

Is Mikkel more tanned than the rest of Our Crew?  Is that because he's a native of this tropical paradise?

If and when Minna includes a selection of fan-art in a future printed volume (as she did with ARTD), I hope this makes the cut.  I love it!  I hope you'll spend more time hanging out with crazy Russian philologists -- it clearly stimulates your creativity!

WOW I'm gone for a weekend and you guys post ALL THE ART.
I went through all 7 pages of it and it's all super great, but sadly I don't have the time to reply to all of it! Just know that you guys are all great and given that I will probably have no internet for the next week or so due to travel SO there will be even more art to look at after that!

Keep it up!
