Personal opinion, no mod hat here:
Clothed hugs and kissing with closed lips on hands, cheeks, nose, boo-boos (minor wounds) and top of head is generally considered G-rated, no matter the parties.  Kissing the lips or with an open mouth on 'public' areas between any two beings counts as shippy, even though still fairly teen-rated.
Looking at fics and the asks on fanwork exchanges on AO3 has taught me much about the wide array of Mature and Explicit content out there.  O_o :-[

Yeah, some of the Explicit really is very explicit indeed. I have only ever looked at our fan content and haven’t really seen much very explicit art (maybe I just don’t where to look) but some of the writing is... I think that’s good, because reading I can imagine how it suits me, or choose to stop reading if it doesn’t. Art has more of the what-has-been-seen-cannot-be-unseen, or rather it’s more immediate.

Ooh Wave that is wonderful!

One thing only. I would love to see that the suit? costume? garb? include a puukko. For Onni’s definitely, for Tuuri’s possibly, and given the nature of their world I would say likely for Tuuri as well.

Actually I was under the impression that the definitive costumes for always include a puukko but apparently only for certain regions in Pohjanmaa / Ostrobothnia.

Eee they're all so pretty! I love that you based them on real-life fishes, it adds a really nice touch to an originally awesome concept.

It's very hard to pick a favorite, but I have to say Emil the European perch made me squee with all his fabulousness.  :emil:
Also as a big fan of sunny colors I love Reynir's color palette.  :reynir:
