Y'all are very creative, I lack the patience to create nice drawings, and have a hard time coming up with a story or setting; it ends up being a thing floating in empty space. Of course that's what I get for only doing margin doodles during dull meetings... you folks are inspiring me to get out the pencils and make an effort to get back into drawing.

Hi, your Lalli is really pretty,  I'm looking forward to seeing him in colors, when you have the time.
Windy, centaur Emil is a good Emil.
And look at Lalli, he reminds me of Elsa Beskows Blomsterfesten (The Flowers' Festival)-  but maybe he ended up a bit too close to the thistle for comfort, he looks wary.

I heartily recommend this - involvement in this fandom is what gave me the impetus to start drawing again in my 50s, and I also took up writing!  Never too old.

Wavewright, 'never too old' is right! I can't art at all, but in my old age I took up writing fanfic, which was an utterly new concept for me. And your stuff is a delight, art and writing both.

I've already started coloring, so I should be fine soon.

OhmyholyLalli how have I not seen all the amazing art posted on here recently! (well, I've seen Windy's in the IRC but it's worth commenting on it again!

Hi, Windy, Unlos, RealRedCloud: You're all such great artists! I love your individual styles and your choice of subject matter!
Hi: Lalli is Lalli, so always the perfect choice to draw, and your skills at drawing him are phenomenal
Windy: Sunflower!Lalli and Centaur!Emil are just. sort of the best things. And wonderfully executed, obviously.*
Unlos: I love your stylleeee! The birthday one is so especially adorable and wonderful. Also, I've never heard of shipping Onni and Bjarni before, and while I don't ship it myself, the art is brilliant.
RealRedCloud: Redraws are so cool (I should really try that sometime, gosh) and your Emil is so fantastic! I love it!

*NO, do not take that word literally when it comes to Emil!


Now I'm going to drop a couple of my own arts here because why not, I'm here anyway?

Because, ah, Lalli and sunflowers seem to be a thing we're talking about lately, and I feel like Emil would be the type to (platonically or romantically or whatever) bring someone a huge bundle of sunflowers as a gift.

Agreed. Lalli, by virtue of his Lalli-ness, must have as much fanart as possible. Which is why YOUR'S is so GOOD (well, other reasons too, naturally. take the flowers Lalli. Take them.
And I love how you drew the pheonix/fire bird. It's so pretty! (And Onni and Tuuri look great. Ugh, Tuuri...My girl...I miss her ;_;)
