There is indeed a cowboy/Western au, an excellent one, courtesy of LooNEY DAC. IN which Lalli is a half-Finnish half Indian scout. Good story, if a bit grim in parts.

Soooo, today was the day for heated kiss, righ?


I imagine my fave prologue dorks having an argument about taking risks and dying and stuff, when we arrive to this moment:
"Why would you care?!?!?"
"BECAUSE I LOVE YOU, YOU A**HOLE!!"
I'm not sure Sigrun saw that one coming, she expected something more on the line of "because we're friends since childhood" or something like that... assuming they were nothing but friends before the collapse of society, of course.

It seems I only know one wordless-surprised expression, sorry hehe

YESSSSS favorite prologue couple! Hehehe, that scenario is hilarious, I love it! (My headcanon is that they were simply friends before the collapse of society...nothing like near-death experiences and fighting off monsters to reveal deeper feelings). :))
