Curry: hee, thanks, you can always count on me for unicorns

i seem to have no patience for neither book writing or comic making, so I always end up with a lot of weird snippets floatin' the void of contextlessness

this is from my fairyverse story, about five faeries connected to the elements as if guardians of them (the classics: fire, water, air, earth + quintessence), and this is the descendant of the quintessence guardian who was captured by humans centuries ago, causing the corruption of the element.
(Is it about mental illness or corrupted magic? spoiler: it's both)

...... the story itself is not all that dark actually, the protagonist is an absolute dork who grew up in the human city not even knowing he was a fairy. he can speak to birds and probably sings disney princess-esque arias when he thinks he's by himself
you'll know where to find me.

These are so beautiful, Haiz!

Are you planning to start a webcomic or something?

(By the way, I couldn't resist imagining Reynir as the fairy guy... :P)

ahhh thank you!!
I..... WISH i was planning a webcomic? I'm... pretty bad at actually doing comics... I can do the drawings, but I'm too impatient for making panels, backgrounds, speech bubbles and uh. everything that makes it a comic and not just sketches floating around

Fairy guy (so far the only one I've actually named, Rezekiel) is PRETTY MUCH reynir, just a little less sheltered, since he's in the military of all things. well. to begin with. once he gets thrown back into fiary society he's super clueless and YEAH HE'S REYNIR

I haven't made any fairyverse art in a VERY LONG TIME so it's all pretty outdated, but here are character designs and other doodles (warning: long)
Spoiler: show

for the record, I don't have any coloured sketches, but the faeries have brownish skin and white/grey hair

REZEKIEL aka "Air Dude"

Water Fairy

Fire Girl

Earth Gal

Quintessence Person

Xion Niode, corrupted quintessence ancestor (the skin colour is wrong because of my poor dying tria markers):

Two major opposing magical forces of the Faerie Forest, Unicorn and Trickster:

A bunch of low-quality doodles:

"Excuse me, why do you have a crow on your head?"
"because it's a hat"

you'll know where to find me.

Maah, I've been pretty still and silent on the fanart side for a while but never fear, I've made some other stuff recently:

lil sketchy sketch

something a bit more elaborate

lol what is stable drawing style

also, I really don't know what I was doing with that lady's trinket-thing. I just don't know.

Yesssss more Sumeri art! I love the palette on the sketch so much. I don't know if that was the finished palette but it WORKS and it's BEAUTIFUL
The coloring on trinket lady is gorgeous as well! You have such a great handle on shading and light sources it's so pretty hhhh

Waahhh thank you(and Haiz, thank you also)! And oh god I've always thought that I'm s***ty at light sources and stuff and I just throw around shadow and light areas where-ever I think they look nice at, but it's good to hear that apparently I'm totally fooling other people! XD

Wow, that's good work! And very creepy indeed. o_o
It reminds me of "Tintin and The Seven Crystal Balls", where there's a inca mummy who used to scare me a lot when I was a kid.

Also, looks like the skeleton guy is calling someone like "You come back right here this instant, young man!"

Alright let's dumb some pictures.

I was bored in my highschool since i had a free hour and decided that why draw something while we are at it. End result was this sketch of an asian influenced dragon.

With highlighted edges.

And here is the end result with a mix of coloring with woodcolors and painting the lighter blue areas with water soluble wood color.
To be honest i wasn't really happy with the colour and wanted the darker underbelly and the skin to have a deeper constract.

And so i repainted him green. It's still a bit work in progress since i need to colour in some shadows still, but i think i can publish it already.

also here is a orc, i like my orcs

Oh Deer
