I assumed they would stack, so you'd get one for each one you went through.

*claps* This is definitely a most best idea!

Maybe you could condense the badges/make them all melt into each other when put side by side? That way they wouldn't become a suuuper long string. :D
A badge for original followers (like a veterans badge) would also be pretty cool.

As for colors, Chapter 2 could have brown, that was pretty much the main color in that chapter.

Ohohohoo these are great! But is, say, the "chapter 5" ribbon for the break before or after the chapter?? Seeing as you've got a prologue ribbon I'd say after, but just to make sure

Oh and if I caught up with ssss just as the chapter break before 6 started, that earns me a ribbon, right?

(also. Has someone made a cover of "summertime sadness" but "chapter break sadness" yet)

also a while ago some pin badges were suggested  (maybe using the 6-star design or something? that would leave the Hannunvaakurna for aRTD)

Yay! I'm glad people like them! If you have suggestions for colors, please let me know!

I was thinking that putting a stripe in for which book it is (one stripe for 1, two for 2, etc.) but I guess we need some for the chapters too. or a number or something.

I would like to make some smaller sizes that could be used for forum footers, so it doesn't get overwhelming.

Maybe come up with some other sorts of badges as well, but I wanted to work on this set first.

Lars had suggested the color of the chapter previous to the break, which sounded good to me.

I think it'd get the same message across without getting as cluttered. And perhaps along with a veteran's badge, the earlier ones should be a little more decorated as a way to celebrate long-time readers (and chapter break survivors), even if they weren't around from the very beginning.

You could make them really small and pixelated, like those fandom scarves you see on Tumblr...

For the forum they could maybe be just a tad larger than the flag icons, since those work so well. A little smaller than this mayhaps?
