This reminds me of the "Rock, paper, scissors, Spock, lizard" paper from some years ago, that outlined a general mathematical formula for all such games.
Based on that, a modest proposal:
"rock-paper-scissors-Mikkel-Emil-Sigrun-Reynir-Tuuri-Lalli"
rock: fist (no fingers or thumb)
paper: open palm (all fingers and thumb)
scissors: index and middle finger
Mikkel: thumb and fingers all touching at tip (mouth shut)
Emil: thumb up (lighter)
Sigrun: index and thumb make circle, all others extended (okay!)
Reynir: four fingers spread pointed down (animal legs)
Tuuri: pinkie up (forelock)
Lalli: index and pinkie (moose horns / magical defense)
rock breaks scissors, dirties Emil, trips Reynir, blocks Lalli.
paper covers rock, distracts Mikkel, bores Sigrun, distracts Tuuri.
scissors cuts paper, confuses Sigrun, clips Reynir's braid, concerns Mikkel.
Emil breaks scissors, burns paper, imprisons Reynir, befriends Lalli.
Mikkel fools Emil, lifts rock, gives assignments to Tuuri, quarantines Lalli.
Sigrun alarms Mikkel, climbs rock, instructs Emil, intimidates Tuuri.
Reynir infuriates Sigrun, feeds paper to sheep, worries Mikkel, barges in on Lalli.
Tuuri rejects Reynir, drives over rock, disassembles scissors, gets over Emil.
Lalli exasperates Tuuri, steals paper, runs with scissors, ignores Sigrun.
Okay everyone!
