I almost called a coworker "Emil" today. I have no idea why, his name is Carl and he's nothing like Emil (as far as I know. He could be a pyromaniac outside of office hours...)

City Hall lady: Your next step in the excuse plot is to furnish a hospital, café and store.
Real life you: I liked furnishing the school and it unlocked a few nice things, maybe I'll do the hospital today.
Private citizen: Hi, you'll unlock the "Nordic Style" line of furniture if you decorate my house instead.
Real life you: That town can wait an extra day to get its hospital, I think...

When you end up doing the following things on a four-day trip to Reykjavík:
* Buy a small candle holder with a rune on it on your first day.
* You don't care about any books that aren't about runes, and even among those that are about runes, only care about the magic-oriented one.
* Your travel companions go on an outside of town tour, you go get a closer look to that coast guard ship you spotted in the harbor on a previous walk. Optional: You're probably their only tourist ever to think they should sell coast guard ship souvenirs.
* You have to talk yourself out of buying an Iclenadic sheepdog figurine because it looks like Reynir's dog.
