I heartily endorse Vinland Saga and Kingdom. Vinland Saga might be my favourite series.

If you like those, definitely give Golden Kamui, Otoyomegatari, and Historie a shot.

The only one I haven't read is Otoyomegatari. If you like Historie there is a similare one 'Ad astra - scipio to hannibal'

@ Basse

I have read chunks of it but I have not sat down to read it properly yet.

What would you expect from the people who brought us that timeless classic that is Inferno Cop.

Youjo Senki is better than I thought it would be coming in - it looked like generic le edgey self-insert trash, but it's surprisingly fun to watch.

Also Kobayashi-san's Maid Dragon is cute. But I already knew that because I read the manga.

If anyone is looking for a good anime movie, "Empire of Corpses"(Shisha no Teikoku) is beautiful. Not for the faint of heart, though. Lots of blood and reanimating of the dead. But it is now one of my favorite movies. But it's got Victorian zombies. So, if that's your thing, you should look it up! ;D

If I'm both pan and genderfluid, then no matter who I like, it's gay and I think that's beautiful

Haven't started yet but was considering it. Do you have any strong feelings on it to kick my lazy self to go watch it? All I really know about it is witches and apparently it has very visually interesting animation or something.

Well.

Have you seen the movies? If yes, have you enjoyed the movies? If yes, you will very likely like this show.

If not - well,it is, so far, a solid show. Very big on physical comedy, helped graciously by it's downright exuberant animation style. Story wise, it's pretty basic, if wholesome.

It's The Worst Witch anime I never knew I wanted.

I have not seen the movies nor was I aware there were any. Though looking at trailers and such I'm about 90% certain I'd like it just from the animation style, so I'm probably going to be watching it pretty soon.

My friend recently recommended I watch Code Geass, and I'm really liking it so far! Usually these kind of action/mecha animes wouldn't be my thing, but with all the political intrigue it is rather interesting so far.

And here I was thinking you'd recommend Voltron. ;) Anyway, I might have to check that out when I get the time!
