Considering that I occasionally drink f.ex. wine from small soup bowls, empty jam jars or straight from the bottle (I REALLY hate doing the dishes, if I'm planning on relaxing the dishes will have to wait) I say just get one anyway. For any drink at all, chocolate milk, orange juice, anything. Or you know... for soup... or cereal... Ok Laufey time to shut up before all the embarrassing secrets come out...

Laufey, I tryed to drink tea from empty jam jar. And cereal from mug. And I like it!  ;D

Happy Halloween! Yeah, it's Reynir with pumpkin, and Purrito with bat wings!
(I don't know if there are bats with white wings, but let's pretend they exist.)

A-and winter is coming, so I made the background using blue colour with frost effect, and added snowflakes. I also used info about Icelandic mages in comic (p. 87), and some pics from Internet as reference. It helped me made some snowflakes as stylized Icelandic runes. I still don't know much about Icelandic runes, hope I made them in right way =)

Materials: 15x20 glass, colours and contours for glass, glitter contour, frost colour, micropearls.

I just discovered this thread.  ::)
You guys make the coolest stuff.

Great posture! Would you mind me asking how you prepared your sculpture before putting on the clay? Did you use metal wire underneath or anything else? What do you use to keep the clay wet?

You have such talent with a knife!
Could it be the most unexpected compliment ?

What else can I do during chapter break, except re-reading comic?

Paint the Nordic Council star on apron!

Apron was bought (it has lovely pockets for kitty!), and I just tryed to practice battik. It was not first time for me, but I think second or third.

THanks :3 I like making the bodies, but can never get heads right though -__-

For the posture I just...make all the limbs separate, and then bend them into the pose I want before properly connecting them...no armatures or anything underneath that I remember. I did use a pin to connect the head to the body before blending them together though. It's air-dry clay, so to keep it wet I just wrapped the bits in wet tissue while I wasn't using them, like a mummy, and then if that started to dry out or needed a top-up I'd just drip some water on and the tissue would soak it up. For storing the leftover clay block, I've put it in a ziplock lunch bag with a ball of soggy tissue, and squished as much air out as I could. It's still in good condition under my desk now! :0

Now I can show the result of baking with the most best amigurumi team :)
Not the best drawings with the royal icing, but at least I tried.  :P

It's mézeskalács ('honey bread'), the Hungarian version of gingerbread (there's no actual ginger in it).

I remember when someone did this with other fandom, and I loved them and kept them, like I still have them after 4 years (I think.....). I personally don't like them, but they looks too cool to eat them as well xD

but these are not mine, so they will be probably eaten xD

Ooh! I saw these in the Advent Calendar pictures but I didn't realize you had drawn the team's faces on them too! Now I really want to try my hand at making gluten-free gingerbread cookies.
