We see who the expedition has gotten to replace Tuuri and Arvind as driver, skald, medic (although it was already tipped that Emil was the skald), and Reynir finds someone who speaks his language, at last.
I've made some collection of SSSSonae here, haven't I?  In this chapter alone, we see the SSSSonas of Gwenno, Haiz, Noodly Appendage, Sunflower, AquaAurion, and Ragnarok, and the little sister I created for Ana Nymus' character.  AquaAurion, your Sofie is actually a central character, sorry about that.

I thought your description of Sofie quite fit the shattered team dynamic I was looking for once I'd crystallised the Captain A**hole character. I enjoyed teasing that Tuuri was the driver.

One revelation to go on the team (more elsewhere up my sleeve).  Plus, Sigrun herself finally enters the story soon, instead of just her future self, I'm looking forward to writing the interplay with Cap'n A**hole.
