:mexico: Hola! yo hablo español, pero no soy de México. Vivió en México para dos años, y durante eso tiempo yo aprendió Español. Ahora quiero aprender mas, hasta que puedo hablar casi como soy de México.

:usa: Hello! I speak Spanish, but I'm not from Mexico. I lived in Mexico for two years, and during that time I learned Spanish. Now I want to learn more, until I can speak almost as if I'm from Mexico.

:spain: ¡oh! Dime lo que quieres saber más y te ayudo :3

:uk: oh! Tell me what you want to learn more and I'll Help you :3

:mexico: ¡gracias! La cosa que es el más difícil para mi es tenso pasado, porque no formalmente aprendió el. Yo conozco algunas palabras en el tenso pasado, pero es porque soy bueno con lenguas y podría aprenderlo sin alguien enseñándome.

:usa: Thanks! The thing that's the most difficult for me is past tense (Did I do the Spanish of that properly?), because I didn't formally learn it. I know some words in past tense, but it's because I'm good with languages and I could learn it without someone teaching me.

(wow, I've lost so much Spanish in the two years since I lived in Mexico. This is harder than I expected.)

:spain: hm... Entonces, ¿quieres saber conjugar en pasado, no?

:uk: hm... So, you want to talk in past, right?

(Your Spanish is good but you need to change some Words :3)

:mexico: Si, y yo se unas palabras en pasado, pero no muchas. :/

:usa: Yes, and I know some words in past tense, but not many. :/

(thank you! I was kind of worried that I had forgotten more Spanish than I realized. I also had a bad habit of letting people speak for me, or speaking in English more than I should, all due to shyness.)

Thanks. :)

So it'd be super helpful if, as I start to learn past tense (which I really want to do soon - I have a dictionary that's all Spanish verbs and their conjugations), I could practice them here, and you - as well as any other Spanish speakers that join the thread - could just give quick comments on how I'm doing with grammar and such (as long as it's not too much trouble, of course). :)

:usa:  Hello, Blackjazz!  I am from Tennessee, USA.  I learned Spanish in high school and university, but I have the same problem as you:  conjugating verbs in past tense.  I am doing lessons on Duolingo, in Spanish and in Swedish, and they are very fun!

The Spanish text was done without the benefit of google translate, and probably has several grammatical errors. :)  I am a bit rusty.

Tienes un nivel de español muy alto aunque el problema de la conjugación es normal en todos
Aún así puedo ayudar :3

¡Hola! Yo también hablo poco español. Estoy lo aprendiendo ahora pero no tengo un vocabulario muy grande y yo sé que mi gramática es... muy mal. Mi maestra no enseña bien y nunca explica que estamos haciendo y pienso que necesito practicar más fuera escuela.

Hello! I also speak a little Spanish. I'm learning it now but I don't have a big vocabulary and I know that my grammar is... very bad. My teacher doesn't teach well and she never explains what we are doing and I think I need to practice more outside school

Ahaha that was probably butchered, so sorry for making you guys read that

So, question: Is this still happening at the same time? I have seriously slept through every single Thursday since the time was set. I'll set an alarm and get my butt out of bed next week I promise, I just want to make sure that it's still at the same time. Or happening at all, really.

Is anyone interested in setting up a second time and day? There are only two days during the week when I cannot do a language chat, and Thursday is one of them (Tuesday is the other.)

I'm definitely interested in setting up a second time. I can't do the one on Thursday (it starts just as my school starts ;_; ) so hopefully this could allow me to join in?
