This song was on a commercial something like a year or two ago, and I have successfully hunted it down.

Actually there's video of Aretha doing Jumpin' Jack Flash on solo piano that is just outstanding. The material is so unlike what she usually does, but she just gets into it totally, completely, with all her being.  It's incredible, I'll have to look for it.

Not the one she did for the movie with Whoopi Goldberg?

Hmm, I don't know about that. I'll definitely have to look for it.

edit: Well it seems there's a whole bunch of versions out there. Way too many to go through. The solo piano one didn't pop up so I don't know I'll just have to stick with my memory.

Lazy8, while I do have my favorites, I love practically everything Enya does. Her music helps with anything I'm trying to do.

Enya is one of those formerly-guilty-pleasures-that-I'm-determined-not-to-feel-guilty-about-anymore-because-there's-no-good-reason-to-feel-guilty. So yes. Listening to more Enya now. :D

You should never feel guilty about liking ANY band or artist.  I rather liked this when it came out, for example, and I still kinda do

I'd never even seen that music video before you posted it and I still immediately knew which song you were talking about. ;D And yes, that song is almost criminally catchy.

Honestly I think there's still a lot of cultural shame around liking anything that's too "girly", especially music. A lot of the guilt in my (formerly) "guilty" pleasures goes back to memories of being bullied over what I liked.

Somebody drove by my house blasting Great Big Sea's "Ordinary Day" at top volume last night, and it's been stuck in my head ever since.
I certainly don't appreciate the whole BLASTING IT WITH THE WINDOWS DOWN thing, but I have no complaints about my neighbours' taste in music. ;V
