I have an intense love for music featuring electric violin, so have some Lindsey Stirling:

I'm inside with a fire in the fireplace, a glass of wine, and Mediæval Bæbes on the iPod

Keep an eye on me. I shimmer on horizons.

I was nosing around for Kalevala stuff in other languages, as one does, and found a Russian folk metal band called Kalevala?? Close enough, same thing. This song's so peppy and catchy!

I've been cleaning whole day to this:
But Crowley remembered what Heaven was like, and it had quite a few things in common with Hell. You couldn't get a decent drink in either of them, for a start. And the boredom you got in Heaven was almost as bad as the excitement you got in Hell.

The Mountain Goats - Jenny

Probably gonna have to buy this album or something, considering how many times I've listened to basically everything on it....

So I seem to have a thing for beautiful songs with somewhat darker themes in their lyrics. To me, this one sounds like... well, like moss. Soft moss growing on the floor of a green forest with shafts of sunlight all around. Yet if you actually read the lyrics, it's about dying in horrible pain:

Then there's this one, which tells a story. It's... not a happy story. But it's just... so... catchy!
