Sooo I don't know if this is where this should go considering everyone else is talking about Very Serious musical accompaniment, but I have a passion for character themes and I don't know what to do with myself. And and these two songs happened to be right next to each other on the album thus making me very happy so I felt I had to put it somewhere.

Lalli's song

Emil's ridiculous song

If this is in the wrong place I'm sorry it's midnight and my judgement has fled.

Would this be a good place to link to my Year Zero fanmix?

So this one is kind of a stretch but today's update regarding disgruntled spirits hanging around our world for too long past their time made me think of this song, "Unfinished Business" which is a song about someone murdered by their lover but I suppose in death is still in love with their lover / murderer so their spirit still hangs around them to wait until it's their time too ? Mumford and Sons did a cover of this song and that one's pretty decent too.

I do think that fits the mood of the ghosts.
And this is an Emil song.

Burn it down,
'Til the embers smoke on the ground.

A really good song about magic that lately has been making me think of the mages, especially because this rad fan-made music video is about a rad powerful magical dude helping guide a disgruntled dangerous spirit over to the next world.

You can't really go wrong with this one for Lalli, honestly.

So this old rad jazz tune called "Nature Boy" by Nat King Cole that was written in the 1940's is hard to listen to without thinking about Lalli.

Yeah, anything by Detektivbyrån and Wintergatan works. Also check this crazy thing by one of the guys behind those bands.

So Woodkid made the soundtrack for the movie Desierto, and this song just makes me think of SSSS. Well Woodkid in general does, but this especially.

and I told myself I wouldn't put Emil/Lalli stuff on here. I have caved. It is too perfect.

I actually found out about Woodkid through the SSSS fandom and I'm soooo glad I did because their music is just, perfect ;_;

I'd almost forgotten about Feist, thank you for posting this and reminding me her music exists ! Dang, that song does fits Emilalli so much, and it's a beautiful song on top of that.

This rendition of the old Swedish folk song "Visa från Utanmyra" is definitely the track when Tuuri looks out the window from the train to Mora. Utanmyra is a parish on Sollerön, which is where "Heart of Mora" is in the comic. So it's a song from Mora.

AAAAAAAWWWW So great!!! I hope they develop it to a finished animation, it would be absolutely awesome!! Good storytelling there! I can't help but notice some coincidences with Nimona's character design, may it be that they decided to use her as an inspiration?
