The first thing that came to my mind was the maned wolf (Guará wolf, as we call it). They like being left alone, are shy and are most active when the weather is cloudy (they really don't like the heat). So yeah, I think we have a lot in common. ::)

Mine would be... well... if it's not a housecat, it's prooobably a mako shark or thresher shark or something like that. My mersona was going to be a thresher shark but then I just... never made one. nice.

My luonto would be probably an owl - let's say a tawny owl. It would be totally useless in the mornings (or at least I would have an excuse for being useless  ::))

Mine is a Great Blue Heron - hunts by standing quietly or walking slowly in pond, stream, or meadow, and catches a variety of prey (fish, frogs, gophers, etc) with a sudden dart of its long, pointy bill. Observant and patient. Voice is a croak; flies with slow wingbeats; nest is an untidy-looking heap of sticks. An adult is capable of fighting off most predatory birds, though I wouldn't bet on it against a bear.
If I were Finnish, it would probably be a Grey Heron, since they replace the Great Blue in Europe.

My fluffy Luonto would be a Wolf Spider. (That being said, there is no relation whatsoever to the wolf or canine. I mean there is no canine in my totem, not even a trace.)
