The madness continues...

Still very work in progress. I need to paint several of the hairpieces and select faces for everyone except Mikkel. Turri needs a gasmask, and both she and Reynir need to hold something. And I've got to paint a heart on the kitten :)

This is looking awesome! I can't wait to see it when it's finished!

this just reminds me, that I want to go to a lego shop and buy them as well (we just don't have that kind of lego shop where I can buy lego peaces one by one.....)

Thanks for all the comments everyone!

If any of you are mad enough to make your own Lego team I'll be releasing the printouts for the uniforms (once I've actually finished them!). I buy the parts from FireStar toys who have a huge range and are very reliable, but (as with all Lego) they could not be said to be cheap  :(

This is the pic I made for Helia as art trade for her lovely amigurumi dolls.

Inspired by the last two panels of this page: http://sssscomic.com/comic.php?page=263
I decided I needed an SSSS-themed flask.

On the back:
Spoiler: show
a Cleansers kitty!

(Yeesh, that shot's blurry.) Unlike the front, where I really tried to be precise, I wound up doing this part pretty much freehand.

It's properly ModPodged, but I'm still not sure filling it won't dissolve ... everything. So I figured I should post it ASAP.

alizarin, this is so cool! It seems all this talk of Emil getting to use his flamethrower lately is starting to throw ripples...

...cause here comes the next pyromaniac!Emil inspired craft! :D

I volunteered at the museum today and we had a cardboard sculpture/craft event and in between cutting up about a kilometer of cardboard and getting my already finished pieces nicked I made this cardboard flamethrower. I don’t know anything about flamethrowers. Here’s what I imagined:

- the barrel is collapsible
- the knob on top is the trigger and you can turn it and it’s got a safety (tape)
- the fuel goes in the bottom of the grip (it’s Icelandic fuel and therefore says caution in Icelandic)
- snazzy decorations (among others: Nordic Council logo and Cleanser Cat)

And then I felt a bit silly and pretended to be Emil...

alizarin, tamaerchen, these are cool, Emil would be totally jealous  :D

And yes, adults can get carried away at museum events that supposed to be for a younger audience... well, been there, done that... :D

alizarin, tamaerchen, great things!

And I am here again with my glass!

Lalli with luonto

Lalli is in the one side of the glass, and his lynx luonto is on the other side. For backround I used blue colour for glass and transparent glue, they give nice texture.

Materials: glass, contours and colours for glass, silver acrylic paint, foil, transparent glue

May we see an image of the other side?

Róisín, thank you!

Thank you so much!
The other side is already layered with foil and fixed with glue, so there's nothing interesting, I suppose.

Olga, that's marvellous! The eyes with the fire-red pupils are a nice touch.
