Right I don't like the sound of that... better device a back-up plan that includes every known spot with ac. And more mochi ice cream. I'm going home 10kg fatter, or at least that's the plan.

Sunflower: love the costume! For some reason I've never figured out the local Jane Austen/Georgette Heyer cosplayers often hang out at science fiction cons, which is where I've encountered them rather than libraries.

The local public library held a Jane Austen festival this evening; a lot of the local historic costumer community showed up.  Among them, yours truly.  Regrettably, I forgot my gloves and fan.... shame on me.
The pictures are in that odd format because they were taken with an app emulating an old-fashioned photo booth. 
No, there is never enough of this kind of cosplay ^_^ More is always better! Gosh this looks so fun and you look so comfortable in those clothes, just like you've been doing a lil bit of time travelling (except for the lack of gloves and fan! What kind of lady goes out without those   :P!)

What do you mean, "most of those weapons are made of foam"? That just makes the first few minutes more fun (at least, for the one person with a non-foam sword)!

Totally unlike Minna, whose costume designs are designed to be flexible, roomy, easily fittable and 100 % comfortable - except in temperatures exceeding 5 degrees.

But seriously, I want someone to cosplay Sigrun so I can hear the tale of how they made the x-belts sit tightly.
