Just started Welcome to Night Vale, and it's really growing on me (not literally, though that might be possible?)
I think my favorite moment so far has been "Wednesday has been cancelled, due to a scheduling error."

Okay I'm loving this so far. The pilot episode was kinda ehhh to me, but it's progressively getting better and better. Darn, now I want to make something with a theme like this...

If you think it's getting better now, just you wait until the anniversary episodes. Aaaaaaaaaaaa it's so good, and so perfect for this time of year too!

Also, as a sidenote, I try my hardest never to judge something by its first episode. More often than not it's a pilot and doesn't capture the series itself very well. (My brother has the four-episodes test: if you don't want to keep watching after four episodes, then stop. But never before)

Yeah pilot episodes are rarely indicative of the quality of the remainder - I remember watching the pilot of Steven Universe, which is quite... different.
I think marathoning Night Vale will be my Halloween celebrations, sitting alone in a basement like a normal well-adjusted adult

As far as I recall the buttons are normally at belt and navel-height. Exceptions do occur I guess.

Yes, people's belt and navel-height depends greatly on the person. For me we're talking more like... almost chest-height.

I have also once liven a year in the official real life equivalent or Mordor - Birmingham, UK. Not kidding here, Tolkien was somewhat influenced by Bham when he wrote about Mordor.
