helloooooooo forum! today was GREAT
- the cosplayers are getting better every year, seriously. and this year has been incredibly diverse, too - oddly few homestucks, shingekis, hetalians, and adventure timers compared to about. well. anytime else. There were three wirts though (from over the garden wall), but not a single steven universe cosplayer. what the HECK. also, a lot of sylveons?? usually there are a bazillion people in pikachu onesies but this year I've only seen a single pikachu but at least five sylveons??
- the reason I'm keeping such watch on this is because one of the things we arrange at the info desk is the Selfie Hunt. It's a fun game where people draw selfie challenges, like "take a selfie with a storm trooper" "take a selfie with someone from a sport anime" "take a selfie with the weird sink" "take a selfie with someone from lord of the rings" and so on, so we need to keep watch on what challenges to write and remove. (When people manage ten challenges, they get a super cool button! and this year we also had buttons in different colours so there were some people doing the challenge SIX TIMES to collect them all. it was intense and wonderful hahaha)
- the cosplayer who won the cosplay competition was actually the norwegian judge at the NCC, and the second-place winner of NCC was there too!! which means I've met people who have met laufey and i'm very excited about that
