It's starting to get dark over here but I am nowhere near done with all of my coloring, so to simulate a natural amount of light, I have 2 extra lamps to help me



...yes, one of the lamps is plugged into the other, why do you ask

This is what I have to do every time I want to take a picture of my art because no scanner  :P

aha, yeah, I have a scanner, but it is low-quality and kind of terrible to try and scan colors for. Therefore I just try to take a reeeally well-lit picture, preferably at about 5 or 6 pm when the natural light is bright but softer and just perfect

I've figured out what parts of my room and when have the best lighting for art photo taking because of this forum. I know exactly where and at what angle to put a picture on my windowsill in the evening to prevent weird shadows in the photo. Haha obsessed me? Nooooooo

hahahhaa and then there's me taking photos of things in my sketchbook... wherever I am in the world at the moment. I do a weird hunt for best lighting and position, but I gotta edit it digitally afterwards most times anyway

wonder what my classmates think of me when the first thing I do after a class is to take a photo of a sketch I did

About taking photos of papers, have you came across this app yet? (iPhone version here)
It's mainly made for scanning written documents of text, but also has features which make it great for scanning drawings sometimes.

I think the paid version is for OCR text recognizing, instant PDF creation, saving to their cloud and things like that, the relevant features (cropping and enhancing the image) work in the free version. You can just choose to save the scanned image to Gallery and then you have a jpg file what you can use. If you have Dropbox, then you can also directly send the pics there (Share > Upload to Dropbox).

Hee hee, read that as "trollbasa" (it does have the accordion shape).

It looks a lot like innbakt pølse. I hope it's not sweet like a trdelnik.

Speaking of trdelnik, I ordered a 'caramel almonds' one on my last day in Kraków. They pretty much smeared a huge load of hapå-like syrupe all over it and showered it in huge almond chunks. I had to walk to the nearest public lavatory to clean sticky stuff off my entire face after that. The original version is so much better. Operation 'home made Trdelnik' is on the drawing table though.
