Glad you had fun. I remember going to my aunt's silver wedding anniversary with about fifty other people a few years ago. Drinks, raunchy poems and shameless jokes abounded. And good food; suuuch good food. *__*

Yes, indeed. (Although the rich uncle who belches forth money whenever he is sufficiently drunk doesn't hurt, either. And all he expects in return is a handmade thank you card once a year; he's over the moon every time he gets one!) ;P

Huh
I was wondering why your signature said 'Thanks for nothing, good for nothing little devil.' xD
Not that I read it myself. I understood 'thanks' 'good' and 'little' and had to go ask my mom for help with the rest xD
It just surprised me since I don't see Croatian pop up a lot--and I honestly don't know where I wanted to go with this entire paragraph. Whoops.
I suppose I'll just finish off with--that's cool! xD sorry, this whole post feels a little awkward but imma post it anyway xP

Yeah, that's the extent of my Croatian vocabulary. I love my grandfather.

It's monday, and the adult adventure resumes:

I am incredibly dizzy today, I think the weather or air pressure is messing with me. Sometimes it feels like I'm walking through the corridors on a ferry, not a hotel on sound ground far away from any sea.... Ahwell. Only ten more minutes till I go home!

Today's the third day in a row I eat pasta with tomato sauce for dinner. I am weak and I love pasta

I realized that the thing that's stressing me out the most about working at a czech hotel is etiquette. I'm norwegian, we don't do etiquette. Czechs do. Hotels do. That's double the etiquette dose I am not used to deal with. Even going to eat dinner is scary, because in norway we say "thanks for the food" after we eat, but czech has an equivalent of "bon apetite" that is said before we eat, and forgetting the czech thing and not doing the norwegian thing because it sounds dumb in czech... Long story short I'm very rude always. At least I remember to say "good day" to everyone I pass by.

I helped out with cleaning a room just now, and I found:
- pretty flowers in the bathroom that I'm taking with me home
- A broken tiara in the bathroom trashcan
- six czech koruna in the closet (now also declared mine)
- hardboiled eggs and butter packets in a coffee cup. The trashcan is empty
-
you'll know where to find me.

I never thought about how many things people probably leave behind. Maybe I will start leaving something behind when I leave my hotel room as a friendly surprise for the person who has to clean it. You could collect all the items and when you get back you can create stories about where they came from and how they ended up in the hotel room. I do that sometimes with the random bits and pieces I find in strange places. Like the love note I found in the gutter one time or the old key I found on the road.

Haiz! You found treasure! 8D (minus the hard boiled eggs and stuff in the coffee cup--why would someone put eggs in a coffee cup?)
